Service description

ArxivAPI provides tools for searching publicly available research metadata and generating arXiv API query URLs.

Independent service

ArxivAPI is not affiliated with, sponsored by or officially endorsed by arXiv.

Research paper ownership

We do not claim ownership of research papers, abstracts, author names or other third-party content.

Individual papers may have different copyright and licensing conditions. Users are responsible for reviewing and following the license associated with each paper.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to the website or server
  • Send excessive automated requests
  • Bypass security or rate-limiting systems
  • Use the service for unlawful activities
  • Misrepresent ArxivAPI as an official arXiv service

Availability

Search results depend on third-party services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy or permanent access to any paper.

No professional advice

Research results are provided for informational and educational purposes. They do not constitute medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ArxivAPI is not responsible for losses resulting from website interruptions, inaccurate metadata, external content or reliance on search results.
